USB C Power
With the renewal of the MacBook Pro in October 2016, the MagSafe connection was also replaced by USB-C, whereby the protection against tripping is no longer provided. It was not until October 2021 that a series with MagSafe 3 was presented again with the MacBook Pros with M1 Pro and M1 Max chips. The power supply remained USB C, the cable was renewed from USB C to USB C to USB C to MagSafe 3 cable and thus the trip protection is restored. The Apple USB C Power Adapter is available from 30 watts to 140 watts. Depending on the Macbook model, the required performance varies. Small models are also suitable for iPad Pro.
